PROJECTION & IMMERSIVE INSTALLATION

Victor creates immersive projection works for outdoor events, festivals, galleries, and site-specific commissions. Working with both analogue and digital projection — including a 5-metre inflatable dome — he produces large-scale installations that transform space and invite audiences into new relationships with image, light, and environment.

THE DOME

A 5-metre inflatable projection dome — deployable outdoors or indoors — domed single-screen projection. Suitable for festivals, community events, education programs, and gallery activation. Available for hire with full installation and operation, or as part of a commissioned artwork.

Infinite Skies

Infinite Skies (2023) Garden of Honour, Goolwa RSL, South Australia 4–6 August 2023 Three-channel video installation, illuminated gazebo structure, 3 × 3 × 2.4m

A three-screen immersive installation of cloudscapes, housed within a pop-up illuminated cube. Shot in the Southern Hemisphere, the footage captures the particular quality of light and atmosphere unique to this part of the world — wide, slow, and luminous.

Infinite Skies offers a pause. A space to look up.

Hypothesis

Hypothesis (2015) began as a series of experiments. Working with artist John Blines at Tooth & Nail Studios in Adelaide CBD, Victor explored the aesthetic and physical properties of analogue projection — reflected and refracted light, optics as medium, image as material. The resulting works were exhibited at Entropy Café, Thebarton, in 2015.

This was an early and formative investigation into the projection practice that now defines Victor's work.
